Masud’s troops explained the reasons for the formation of the Hindu Kush command. New footage has appeared online with representatives of the so-called Afghan National Resistance Front (FANR) in Panjshir. The representatives of Ahmad Masood’s detachments themselves claim that these shots “are direct proof of the continuation of resistance to the militants who illegally seized power in Afghanistan.”In the footage, you can see young men, some of whom are dressed in military uniforms of the Afghan army. FANR representatives themselves say that they include several battalions of the Afghan army in Panjshir, who decided to continue resisting and waging a guerrilla war while simultaneously refusing to swear allegiance to the Taliban (* a terrorist group banned in Russia).

The weapons of the Masuda militia are very different. You can see people with American assault rifles and Soviet SVD.It is reported that the formation of several relatively large compounds continues in the FANR. In particular, up to 1.5 thousand fighters, so to speak, are assigned to the Hindu Kush militia command. Masood explained the reasons for this formation – the main task of this FANR command is to counter the possible penetration of militants into Panjshir from Pakistan.

There is evidence that the militia in the Hindu Kush region has already entered into clashes with the enemy.Earlier, Masood’s troops accused the Pakistani command of sending special forces to assist the Taliban* in storming the Salang Pass and the capital of Panjshir province – the city of Bazarak. The Taliban* call such accusations untenable, claiming that they took Salang and Bazarak without outside help.
